Additional Deputy commissioner Syed Ammar Hussain Rizvi vows to provide eatable items to citizens over government rates here on Wednesday at a meeting held at committee room.
While presiding a meeting he told that complaint centers have been established at each Taluka level under the supervision of Assistant commissioners for redressal of complaints regarding price hike. The officials of price control and bureau of supply should visit the bazars and shops to control the prices. Mr Rizvi warned shopkeepers not to charge extra prices over eatable items, otherwise they would face the consequences.
Meanwhile rates of below items were as Daal Channa rupees 150, Rice 70 to 155 rupees, flour 60 to 62 rupees, meat 500, mutton 900 rupees, milk 110, yugurt 140, Jaggery 110 rupees and other prices for various items were fixed.
People were advised to make complaints in case of over charges and hand made price hike.
Mr Rizvi directed shopkeepers to fix price list at their shops.
