ISLAMABAD (ENN) Sindh Minister for Labour and Human Resources Ghulam Murtaza Baloch had a meeting with Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari here at Bilawal House Islamabad.
In the meeting, Murtaza Baloch briefed Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari regarding the measures, taken by Sindh Labour Department for betterment of the labourers, adding that better health, safety and education facilities were being provided to the labourers.
On this occasion Bilawal Bhutto Zardari asked him to arrange a simple but significant ceremony on the eve of Labour Day to show solidarity with labourers.
Murtaza Baloch informed PPP Chairman that Sindh Labour Department would distribute allotments of flats and houses to the labourers through balloting. He was further informed that on Labour Day, cheques of marriage grants, financial assistance and scholarship would also be distributed to the labourers.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also directed Sindh Minister for to ensure smooth supply of drinking water to the residents of Karachi. Murtaza Baloch assured him that he would work hard to follow the vision of the PPP Chairman.
