ZHOB (By Rafiullah Mandokhail/ENNS) Newly-elected member of the national assembly (MNA) Qadir Khan Mandokhail has lashed out at Imran Khan-led government for its ‘utter failure’ in service delivery and poor performance in all sectors of governance. The incumbent rulers were unable and incapable to run the government affairs smoothly.
“Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and former Prime Minister Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto had given the country an unanimous constitution and initiated several key industrial, commercial and economic projects including steel mill, but the incumbent ruler of the country is distributing chickens and eggs and added the country to the Saudi charity list.
He expressed these views during meetings with various delegations at Saleh Muhammad Khan house in his native village on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. District president ANP Muhammad Anwer Mandokhail, Malik Amanullah Hariphal, Nazir Afghan, PPP leaders Sheikh Sharab Mandokhail, Mula Dad Qureshi, Abdul Rehman Hariphal and various political, social and tribal leaders were also present on the occasion.
MNA Mandokhail said that following the recent Karachi NA-249 by-poll, a drama of recounting was staged and the opponents were left with nothing but shame. After knocking the Election Commission’s door, the PPP’s won the seat by an even greater margin of votes after the recount. He added.
Mr. Mandokhail Advocate said that basic human rights violations and human discrimination continue in the country.
“Bicycle thieves are languishing in prisons while those involved in billions’ corruption are enjoying their lavish life in London,” He lamented.
“Keeping in view the performance of model courts, all courts in the country should be replaced with model courts and the number of judges at anti-terrorism courts, high courts and the Supreme Court should be increased,” adding that in order to ensure cheap and speedy justice and facilitated the litigants, he suggested the immediate implementation of all the basic human rights articles, including the National Action Plan and article 25 of the constitution. He demanded.
The newly elected member of the national assembly said that a network of motorways has been laid across the country but Balochistan is deprived of it at all. The construction of the western route of CPEC can end the prevailing sense of deprivation in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the MNA hoped. He promised with the people of Zhob, to raise the gas provision issue on the assembly floor.
