ZAB’s foot prints as Bilawal Bhutto takes oath to become youngest FO of Pakistan

 ISLAMABAD (By Lala Hassan/ENN/MD) President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi administered the oath to newly appointed federal minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari here on Wednesday.
Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will likely be given the portfolio of foreign ministry with State Minister for Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar.
Former president and Cochairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari and sister of BBZ Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari were also present on the occasion.
President Alvi administered the oath to the PPP leader at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, while Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif, along with other federal cabinet members, also attended the ceremony.
Federal Ministers, including Rana Sanaullah, Naveed Qamar, Khurshid Shah, Sherry Rehman, and State Minister for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar, also attended the ceremony.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Aseefa wrote: “Congratulations to the youngest Foreign Minister in Pakistan’s history @BBhuttoZardari.”
“The task is daunting, and the previous government have hurt our international standing but I have no doubt that you will make our country, party, and family proud,” she added.
It is pertinent to note that after lengthy deliberations within then BBZ agreed to join cabinet as foreign minister to continue legacy of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who had become foreign minister in the era of Ayoub Khan.
According to sources many party leaders were not in favour of joining cabinet by BBZ as there is limited time for fresh election but many others linked ministry with Bhutto’s joining government of Ayoub, which provided Bhutto chance to groom as international leader.
