ISLAMABAD (ENN) A religious group who had given Sit-In has allegedly threatened Judges for protest and consequences if the death penalty of Asia Bibi is changed.
In a video message, viral on social media two leaders of the religious group, which contested general elections 2018 are seen saying “Judges should reinstate the conviction of Asia Bibi”, who is facing death sentence under blasphemy charges.
She had made appeal in Supreme Court against the death penalty and three members bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar reserved its verdict on Monday.
According to civil society representatives “this is not the first time that the said religious group has threatened Judges but in past their leaders issued threats and used abusive language as well.
“Anyone found supporting her (Asia Bibi) will face public anger” adds further the video message.
