SIALKOT (ENNS) Sialkot Saddar police have registered a case against as many as 175 accused PML-N activists including Shujaat Ali Pasha, General Secretary PML-N Sialkot district, Farooq Ghuman, Divisional President PML-N Youth Wing Gujranwala, Ch. Tanveer Ahmed and Malik Fahad for taking out a big rally on Sialkot-Daska Road forgoing to Lahore Airport to accord warm welcome to Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Mariyam Nawaz on July 13, 2018, by violating the official ban.
Police have registered this case (No.598/2018) under sections 188, 290 and 291 PPC on the report of sub inspector Maqsud Ahmed. Police have started investigation with no arrest, in this regard.
Meanwhile, the Daska Saddar police have also registered a case against 23 accused PML-N workers including Rana Raza, Hashim Butt and Naeem Butt (General Secretary PML-N Daska City) for also taking out rally near Raajoke-Daska on main Daska-Sialkot for going to accord warm welcome to Nawaz Sharif at Lahore airport on July 13, 2018. Daska Saddar police have registered this case (No.346/2018) under 16-MPO on the report ASI Muhammad Shehbaz.
Police said that the said accused PML-N workers also made hate speeches against the law enforcing agencies (LEAs), when the LEAs had halted this rally there in a bid to maintain law and order situation there.
While Sialkot’s Rangpura police have registered a case against as many as five accused including two local PTI leaders Mehar Kashif (son of PTI candidate Mehar Ashiq in constituency PP 37, Sialkot –III) and Sheikh Kamran for conducting the massive demonstration of the fireworks at Jinnah Stadium Sialkot upon the arrival of PTI Chairman Imran Khan there to address the public meeting there during the night of July 15, 2018.
Police have registered this case (No. 296/2018) under sections 188, 285 and 286 PPC on the report of ASI Sarwar Ali Mudassar. Police said that the accused conducted this massive demonstration of fireworks there to welcome PTI Chairman Imran Khan there by violating the official ban imposed by the Punjab government.
