HYDERABAD/ MORO (ENNS) Moro police while violating the orders of Chief Justice Sindh High Court picked up president of Tailors Association and was produced before SSP Naushahro Feroze here on Friday.
Jansar Kalhoro was picked up from his shop by Moro police and was produced before SSP Naushahro Feroze Amjad Shaikh where allegedly he was threatened by police officer for dire consequences as to stop supporting the poor Bagrri community.
Kalhoro told media that SSP directed him to stay away from the issue of Bagrris who were brutally tortured by police few days ago during protest. The Bagrri community and social and political activists had held protest demonstration for the arrest of killers involved in the murder of Mevi Bagrri.
CJ Sindh Justice Ahmed Ali Shaikh had taken the notice of brutal torture and charging activists under anti-terror law and, police officials including DIG Shaheed Benazirabad had assured court on 15th august that the cases, registered under Anti-Terrorism Act will be withdrawn. Police officers assured court that no one will be harassed.
Jansar arrived back Moro from Naushahro Feroze, some 24 kilo meters of travel after his detention further told that “we will continue our struggle until justice is provided to poor Bagrris”. He made appeal to CJ Sindh for appropriate action against police, which is continuously violating the law of the land.
Younus Raho of Awami Workers Party, Rashid Kalhoro of PPP SB, Ashraf Laghari of JSQM-A, Manzoor Bhatti, Sarang Chandio, Bilal Dahro of SNP and others led the protest demonstration infront Moro press club and demanded immediate justice to poor Bagrri citizens of Pakistan.
