Mob brutally tortures Christian man under allegation of blasphemy in Sialkot, arrested, booked


SIALKOT (ENN) Police have registered a blasphemy case against a Christian accused for committing blasphemy in Badiana, Pasrur tehsil on March 12.

According to the FIR(No.68/2019) lodged at Badiana police station by a local religious cleric  Hafiz Muhammad Mudassar under section  295-C PPC, accused Stephen Maseeh committed blasphemy in a local ground in Badiana, Pasrur tehsil of district Sialkot, Punjab.

Local people caught the accused and tortured him brutally physically. A contingent of police reached the spot and took the accused in custody.

Local senior police officials told that the police have arrested the accused and sent him behind the bars. Police officials added that the further investigations were underway.
