Bhit Shah: Participants of the meeting of HMs. (ENN)
HYDERABAD (ENN) In an attempt to improve the quality of education, Sindh government had appointed 957 Head Masters (HMs) through Institute of Business and Administration (IBA) Sukkur on contract basis for two years.
The contract period will be ending on July 4, 2019 but according to sources no initiative has been taken to regularize those HMs.
According to Khan M Rajpar, Jam Arshad and Zakir Hussain Gopang that HMs worked hard to change the dismal state of education in their respective schools inspite of several hurdles such as life threats and internal as well as external resistance.
They told ENN that HMS successfully accomplished the new challenging task by visiting schools far and wide to ensure the accurate collection of data for the betterment of Sindh education.
Syed Imamuddin Shah, Hadi Bux Panhwar and Wahid Rahimon regretted that in spite of all the best results, the sword of uncertainty was still hanging over them as no efforts have been made for new contracts.
They told that a representative meeting was called at Bhit Shah under the leadership of IBA HMs of District Matiari. The meeting gave unanimous ultimatum to the government for regularization of all HMs till June 20, 2019.
Raza Hussain Larik, Munsif Ali Jokhio, Ghulam Nabi Makhdoom, Vijee Sharma Farzana Parveen and others warned of protest in each division of Sindh on daily basis.
“Protests demonstration and hunger strike will be observed in Karachi if demands are not accepted” they added.
