At least eight killed, over dozen injured in two separate violence incidents in Chaman & Hangu


ISLAMABAD (ENNS) An explosion occurred in Balochistan, Chaman area of Qilla Abdullah District, located near the country’s border with Afghanistan.

Initial reports suggest that at least two person were killed and dozen injured in the explosion, which shattered windows in nearby buildings.

JUI-F leader Maulana Muhammad Hanif was said to be among injured.

He succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

In another incident of violence at least six people were killed and four others injured when gunmen opened fire on a passenger bus in Zargai area, Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Local authorities said the bodies and injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital.

The police said raids cause of attack was an old enmity.
