A Koolhi labourer killed in Tando Jam police firing


HYDERABAD (ENN) Hyderabad’s Tando Jam police have allegedly killed a labourer on Sunday evening as he was going to his home, told relatives.

According to details Hemo Kachi alias Mahu son of Jagu Kolhi was killed in police firing and succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

However police has said that Police Constable Ali Raza Chandio along with a private person Khurram Rajput went to agricultural fields upon the information of the presence of liquor.

The police constable was not in uniform and had a private pistol, police further added. Police constable claimed that when he reached there, a scuffle took place between him and the deceased Mahu s/o Jagu Kohli.

During the scuffle a bullet was fired from the pistol of the PC Ali Raza and as a result Mahu died.

According to police the accused constable and his companion has been arrested and will be booked accordingly.

The relatives of the deceased told media that he had been working on the hotel and was targeted by police without any reason as policemen were drunk.

They staged protest and demanded chief Justice and IGP Sindh stern action against all involved policemen, who tried to declare murder as an encounter initially.
