Maulana Abdul Habib Attari Delivers Passionate Address on Sunnah and Social Reform

A grand spiritual congregation organized by Dawat-e-Islami was held in Naushahro Feroze, attracting score of devotees from the city and surrounding areas here on Friday.
The event began with the verses from Holy Qur’an, followed by Naat recitations.
Mr. Haji Abdul Habib Attari, a member of the Central Executive Council of Dawat-e-Islami, delivered an inspiring and comprehensive speech while highlighting the virtues of sending blessings upon the Holy Prophet ﷺ, the importance of following the Sunnah, the value of honesty and trustworthiness, and the detrimental impact of lying and backbiting—vices that deeply damage moral and social order.
He emphasized that “A society can be reformed only when individuals align their speech, conduct, and character with the noble Sunnah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.”
Mr Attari stated that backbiting and falsehood were not only grave sins but also destructive elements that weaken families, relationships, and the social fabric. He reminded the audience that trustworthiness is a fundamental pillar of an Islamic society, and negligence in this regard ultimately harms the entire community.
The congregation reflected a vibrant spiritual environment, with participants displaying remarkable enthusiasm. Considering the large turnout, strict security arrangements were made, and the organizing teams remained fully active throughout the event to facilitate the attendees.
The gathering concluded with collective prayers. Special supplications were made for the peace and security of the country, unity of the Muslim Ummah, recovery of the sick, and relief for those facing hardships.
