Shopkeep owners after shutting down their shops and business against theft from Pirzada autos here on Saturday.
The shop keepers took to the main Allah Wala Chowk and chanted slogans against police officials for failing to secure the besuniss of shopkeepers and they set on fire the tires that resulted into road blockage and traffic jam.
Protesters Abdul Hameed, Abdul Aziz, Ghullam Hassan and others told media that SSP and others were on leave or sitting in their offices and homes but thieves were active and looting the people.
Hameed told that thieves took oil, spare parts and one hundred thousand cash from his situated at by pass Mithiani district Naushahro Feroze.
Passengers and citizens faced difficulty due to traffic jam and protest and upon the intervention of police officials, the protest was called off.
