MULTAN (ENN) The funeral prayers were offered on Thursday of eight dead in a clash between two groups within a family in Multan’s Jalalpur area, Punjab province.
At least ten people were killed and 17 injured in the armed clash on Wednesday.
Police said that case was registered against 18 nominated and five unknown persons.
The case includes charges pertaining to terrorism and attempted murder.
Police has so far arrested six people in connection to the case.
At the time of funeral prayers, police surrounded the venue and burial of the deceased took place amid strict security.
A number of people from the area attended the funeral prayers.
Police said that 20 people from Kala Jafar group were coming back after Eid prayers when rival Ghulam Nazuk group members opened fire on them.
Seven people from Kala Jafar group while three from Ghulam Nazuk group were killed in the incident.
